Loggia Conservatory Case Study | Crystal Living

Banks, Loggia

Coloured Conservatory

The Design – We suggested we stick to the same footprint & use the existing site works, with some minor alterations. It was essential to the customer that we removed the lean to effect and added some design features to the structure. We decided to use a matching coloured frame and add Aluminium feature columns to the corners, increase the door openings to the front elevation and make the interior more like a room.

Technical considerations – This site was very unusual because it was front elevation. The customer was very unhappy with the existing structure because it was starting to look tired, it was too hot in summer, too cold in winter and did nothing visually for the house.

The Result – A light airy contemporary structure that creates a superb day room that links the kitchen/diner with the extensive gardens. Thus enabling the customer to enjoy the front elevation every day of the year.
